[OoT] How do you compress the Debug rom's file size?

Certain emulators actually don't load the debug due to the file size being too big, is there a way to compress it? Thanks.

The debug rom should be 64 megabytes, which a good N64 emulator should be able to support.

For compressing the Debug Rom (or perhaps a modified Debug Rom), it's possible but you'd need to know what files shouldn't be compressed (making it tougher to build a tool that can do this automatically), and it will take a considerable amount of time (~30 mins). I'm not sure if there's a tool out there that can do this properly

Thanks, I think something like that might work, although I'll still need a bit more knowledge with this compressing stuff though. I tried to play it on Cube64, an N64 emulator for gamecube but it won't play because of it's large space, in case you need to know what emulator I'm trying to use. I also tried injecting the rom into the Zelda Master Quest iso, although it didn't work because the rom was too large.

It would be fairly easy to just import it to a regular, compressed(32 megabytes) OoT V1.0 ROM. In order to do that, your "Waluigi file" has to not have exceeded the original size of Link's file. Then you need a program called "yaz0enc" to compress the file. Put your Waluigi file and a clean Link file in the same folder as yaz0enc. Simply just drag and drop both files each on the program and it will create ".YAZ0" files of the ones you dropped on it. Now open up both of the .YAZ0 files you just created as well as the compressed V1.0 OoT ROM in HxD. In the clean .YAZ0 Link file, copy about the first 0x50 bytes of the file and then switch over to the OoT ROM. Now go to Search>Find and paste the bytes from the clean Link file. Before clicking search change "Text-Strings" to "Hex values". You will arrive at some marked bytes, which happen to be the ones you searched for. Go to the start of those bytes and then switch over to your .YAZ0 Waluigi file and click CTRL+A and then CTRL+C to copy the whole file. Now go back to the ROM and simply Right click>Paste write at the offset where the bytes you searched for from the clean .YAZ0 Link file started. Now simply save and test! If you encounter any problems, feel free to PM me for help.

Ok, thanks, trying both methods, but just wondering, isn't the OoT V1.0 ROM in a different language?

Well, there is also a V1.0 (U) OoT ROM.

I came across the problem of the rom freezing before showing Adult Link (Waluigi), here's a quick video of what I'm doing.

What am I doing wrong?

Are you following my "tutorial"? Sadly I can't watch your video in a week or so due to limited internet on phone, but if you do try to do it "my" way it would be easier to help you through PMs.
