So I've recently started Zelda moding and I decided to try to import one of my custom maps made with SketchUp2014 into an actual OoT Debug rom using Hylian Tool Box and the Map Injector. The problem is everytime I try to load the area I saved my map to the game crashes. I made sure the textures were 32x32, 32x64, or 64x32, I made sure the geometry is being triangulated when exporting an OBJ file from SketchUp2014, placed Hylian Toolbox in a directory where there are no spaces, exported the OBJ file to the same directory as Hylian Toolbox, and used the .zarea extension when saving the zarea file. But it still continued to crash so I looked further for solutions and made sure the Group.txt only said "Groups:" in Hylian Tool Box and in a hex editor edited the number of Groups in the ZMAP header to be 00. Yet it continues to crash and I have no idea why. Can someone please help me? I want to start moding OoT but this massive road block is not allowing me. |

Did you scale it to the correct size in Sketchup? The dimensions have to be perfect. |

I used this as an example. Whatever scales are in here I used. http://forums.maco64.com/topic/830984/1/ |

I mean, did you use a map model that was extracted from the game as a scale, so that your map would be around the same size? |

Cause if there are any differences in the dimensions, from what I've learned, it will not work. |

I used SketchUp2014 (SketchUpMake the free one), Hylian Tool Box, and Map Injector. |

Then, I don't know. You'll have to wait for Moi, or Aero to see. I'll refer Aero to this topic. And, your welcome for doing so. |
