[OoT] Custom Map, Game Crashing; OoT crashes everytime I try to load a my custom map

So I've recently started Zelda moding and I decided to try to import one of my custom maps made with SketchUp2014 into an actual OoT Debug rom using Hylian Tool Box and the Map Injector. The problem is everytime I try to load the area I saved my map to the game crashes. I made sure the textures were 32x32, 32x64, or 64x32, I made sure the geometry is being triangulated when exporting an OBJ file from SketchUp2014, placed Hylian Toolbox in a directory where there are no spaces, exported the OBJ file to the same directory as Hylian Toolbox, and used the .zarea extension when saving the zarea file. But it still continued to crash so I looked further for solutions and made sure the Group.txt only said "Groups:" in Hylian Tool Box and in a hex editor edited the number of Groups in the ZMAP header to be 00. Yet it continues to crash and I have no idea why. Can someone please help me? I want to start moding OoT but this massive road block is not allowing me.

Then, I don't know. You'll have to wait for Moi, or Aero to see. I'll refer Aero to this topic.
And, your welcome for doing so.
Thanks I really appreciate it, I want to start modding OoT but I can't because of this problem.

Sometimes this happens to me, where everything is perfect. Make sure your directory isnt very long (try C://MyMaps/ if all else fails) and make sure there is no maps. Also, check your textures AFTER THEY EXPORT WITH THE OBJ. SKETCHUP SOMETIMES MAKES THESE WIERD SIZES. Also, if all of this doesnt fix it, ive had to start maps over, since the game just doesnt like the file.

Also don't use Sketchup 2014, use Sketchup Pro 8 instead.

Thanks, I'll try this out. I had a few questions though regarding your solution, when I make the directory C://MyMaps/ should I move Hylian Tool Box there and the Map Injector or should only save my .OBJ files there? Also what do you mean by "and make sure there is no maps"?

Looks like I have to download Sketchup Pro 8.
Question: Can 2014 and 8 run alongside each other?

Turns out part of the reason it kept crashing was because I had the wrong debug rom. So I got the actual one, but now when I try to load up my map it says Project 64 is not responding and eventually closes. Now my emulator is crashing. Any solutions?

edit: I'm using Project 64 1.6.

edit: I tried Project 64 2.1. and it said "fatal error stoping emulation".

Did you check the CRC? That could possibly be it. Use GZRT.

I don't want to sound "asky" (is that a word?) but where do I find the CRC? and is that for 1.6 or 2.1 or both? Thanks. I ask this because I'm not on my personal computer at the moment.

I have no idea what you're talking about, really. Sorry if I sound noobish but can you explain to me what the CRC is and how to use a GZRT, more specifically what is a GZRT?

GZRT is a program: Look for the program GZRT, within that program there is a feature to fix CRCs

Cyclic redundancy code...I think. That is what crc means

Use the GZRT program to fix the CRCs and see if it works.

All it does is It just helps fix some errors.

(not sure what exactly what errors or how) but it helps smooth the process

It's one of the steps that comes in sometimes when something isn't working

Edit: it comes in handy when using the tool InstEd (spelling?), for if you decide to compose and insert your own music

Thanks, PwnzLPs said he would check the CRC for me, but I might try to fix it on my own.
