As a lot of people gave up in this mod, since 2 weeks ago, I'm going forward to make this happen: 3DS Adult Link in OoT!

At last, the models of my weapons have bad texture mapping (most of them). If you want to help, I'd like to have a Sketchup model with Adult Link and all of his weapons right-textured.

Moi, the only way to fix texture mapping errors is to edit all the textures on the model itself then reimport it. Try splitting up your texture into multiple textures if it's a single texture. Then reapply the textures to the model and reimport it.
Oh, I see. Sadly, the texture mapping won't be as accurate as the original model, I think. Anyways, I'll keep trying to have a model with texture mapping as good as the original. Flotonic could get a model with right texture mapping for his 3DS Child Link, so we can have one too for 3DS Adult Link.

you could also rip the textures, edit them and replace the broken ones via hex editor. if you can manage to find the texture offset which ZLE2 names it's dumped textures. and you can reinsert them with N64rip
The problem is caused by the texture mapping in the model, and not the actual textures.

I really just used method that I'm already using which is editing the texture mapping within the model and then reimporting it. the texture mapping errors are probably from the reflections stuff that they used for the master sword and other models in lot 3d. Because when I imported the hylian shield model, there are absolutely no texture mapping errors. And the hylian shield wasn't a reflective shield. See my point?

The issue comes actaully from the model, and not if it's reflective in the game or not.

I have found a way to fix it using texture, and I am working on the mapping for the master sword using the texture provided with the model. U/V mapping errors come from an error within the model and the texture placement of the model. I am currently in the process of fixing the master sword's errors since there's a lot of them. It's going to be pretty damn close to perfect, but its not going to be perfect. Basically, I'm resizing the texture size for each facenand then rotate the texture and change the texture's placement, once again, for each face. I'm using the model's texture for just about everything. The hilt is the worst, so I am not going to line up the lines correctly. Instead, I'll be using just people purple within the texture made for the hilt. I'll be doing my best with the blade's texture, and it should look pretty damn good. Unfortunately, I have to remove the icon on the part of the blade closest to the hilt.

Oh, OK. I wish you luck in your way to fix the texture mapping of the Master Sword.
BTW, guys, I made a comparison image:

Of course yes. They don't work for me yet, but I'm gonna keep trying until they do (I didn't try with this mod yet).

Hey, Moi, is there any texture-mapping stuff you want fixed? I am currently fixing the texture mapping stuff for the Master Sword.

Yes, well, almost all of the weapons need fixes...

Don't forget Jimmy I'm the one that started the whole adult link port I just transferred my work mio :D
If I had a little bit more experience with porting then I could probably pull this off but it's too late I already gave the rest to Mio

Hmm... not really. Yes; you were the first to try to port it; and yes, you gave me your work, but I rejected to do it. Then, when I felt good to do this, I started the mod from scratch, so this project is actually made with my own progress. This isn't actually a continuation of your work, as I didn't use anything from your work.

Oh, and my name is Moi.
sorry i got your name wrong and you made your point so its your prject and i respeced that sorry i said that i was in a mit of a bad mood that day :(
