Twili, you might want to try the academic edition of 3dsmax; you mentioned 3dsmax on page one. I think you can use it for free for 3 years. I'm not sure what features, if any, are disabled. But hey, it's free so it can't hurt to try it right? http://www.autodesk.com/education/free-software/3ds-max Also, keep up the good work!
