Welcome to Zelda64.net. Announcements can be found below!
As of 3.1.2017, this site seems pretty dead. Or on the brink of dying. So I've decided to try to help it out. Z64 is having its theme reworked to be more modern and professional. I'll try my best to get back into the Zelda modding scene. Hopefully we can get this place back up without the cobwebs (and without looking like a web page from the 1990s). Enjoy the current Zelda64 Dark theme over the next few days while I finish sorting out the rest of it and the Light theme. Thanks for sticking with us. Sylux102 out.
Welcome to Zelda64. We hope you enjoy your visit.

Hello! Want to make Link do a spin attack instead of a jump slash? Easy!

Open gameplay_keep.zdata and open this page : http://wiki.cloudmodding.com/oot/Link_Animations

Find the animation you want to replace which is in this case, the jump slash (0x2900). Note that offset on Notepad.
Find the animation you want instead which is in this case, the spin attack (0x29C0).

Go to 0x29C0, copy the next 8 bytes (XX XX XX XX XX XX XX XX).
Go to 0x2900, paste-write the copied bytes over.

Now, select all and copy.
Open your Rom, paste-write everything at : 0x00F5E000
Save and enjoy!

There you go! This was a small tutorial by me! :D

Thanks, dude! This is extremely useful, especially since this method can be used to replace other animations, too!

I made this for this method, if nobody had already done one before ;P https://youtu.be/FekmZU_P0dg

Thank you, SoundBlitz! Put it in my bookmarks.

The tutorial worked flawlessly! Made Link use his normal running animation for his sword and shield holding animation, since I never really liked how Link held the shield all the way out in front of him. With this edit, it seems more Wind Waker-ish. :) I think I may have put in the wrong one, but it still works awesomely. I think it's the one they used for Third Quest, even!

I would say it looks more like TP since TP Link is the one that doesn't hold the shield infront of him xdd

Could you post a majora's mask filesystem? Like models, sounds, animations, and all that stuff? Thanks.
