But to pull this off would most likely require ASM because you'd have to tell the game when to load the scene, and how. That sort of stuff. I haven't looked much into the cutscenes. That's just a guess.

Hi sorry for adding a comment to this post even though it's old but nobody solve the situation here I've been messing around with the debug cutscene tool in the rom I got it down but how do I save my cutscene and replace it with another cutscene that's already in the game? I am hoping I can do it with hex editing? :( and not with asm hacking? Because I heard thats difficult. :( I'm asking is that anybody have any documentary on this? Maybe from izou ROM hack? I wish flo was here. :'(

I actually converted the model flotonic used for that. quite simply the entire cutscene was one scene model that he used camera transitions to move around the camera. a lot of hex editing was involved for it. there is one way to create basic cutscenes which is to use the debug rom's cutscene editor then copy the information for the cutscene from the ram and overwrite cutscene info for an old cutscene in the rom, correct me if i'm wrong.

What is/are the names of the program(s) to view the ram? Is there one that views it live time? If someone knows could someone post how they use the program here?

My apologies, but I really think if people post THAT plus a description on how they look up the scene data,
nothing fancy just how to look it up and what to copy and paste.

THEN I think that this can be done finally. (or more widely available to practice)

I agree with you totally so I know nothing about the RAM or how to copy it and put it into the rom and it will be nice to have a tutorial? :D

Well the easiest way is to run the game with Nemu64 as far as I know.

Nemu64 won't allow my edited rom to run, oddly. I keep getting "invalid" errors like dl or something, and black screens only allowing movement and sound. Basically, it's like trying to get a fully blind person to play.
