DESCRIPTION
I've decided to retexture Twilight Princess GC! I wanted to keep the original textures, but convert them into HD format as much as possible, and also add a little Skyward Sword style. Twilight Princess was suppose to aim towards a dark look+feel, but failed miserably by the power of blurry/ugly textures. The game also lacks lighting effects and shadow effects, so I'm working on getting shader addons(ReShade, SweetFX, etc.) to become compatible with the game. I'm aiming to get SSAO or HBAO, and DoF to work properly. I've seen some people that had success with some effects, but no tutorial. I NEED SOME HELP WITH APPLYING THOSE EFFECTS! I really want to get Twilight Princess polished as much as possible. The textures, that I've done, are looking beautiful, but the lackluster of HBAO, SSAO, and DoF is killing the feel. I know it's possible to get the effects working because I have successfully implemented HBAO and DoF on the Project64 ROMS(Majora's Mask, OoT, and Conker.) So yeah...

SCREENSHOTS! (NEW; MAY 24, 2015)

I will like to release the download of the ALPHA texture pack! Below is the download link. GO CRAZY! The changes to link have not been uploaded, yet. I'll be uploading them, as soon as possible. It will be considered a patch :)

Keep checking this post for any patches.

NOTE
You can customize the settings to your liking. If the game slows down, using SSAO, try turning down the "SSAO Quality" slider or perhaps the "Sample Range" slider. If you are still experiencing an FPS drop, try disabling Anti-Aliasing by setting it to "None" or try using a lower "Internal Resolution." If none of that helps, then you can just use DoF by selecting "DOF" in the "Post-Processing Effect" drop-down menu.

I also want to let everybody know that 90% of the textures, including Link and Epona, and all characters, are completely redrawn by me, digitally. I DID NOT USE ANY GOOGLE IMAGES! I Enlarge the texture with Alien Blow-up, and then trace it. If I am not satisfied with certain Twilight Princess textures, I remake them, completely(making them different, my style.)

I think the fonts for the numbers still look strange. Additionally, the button layout is kind of confusing, shouldn't "o" and "square" be switched, if that is a Ps3 controller.
Secondly, if it was possible to move the hearts, doesn't that mean you could move the button hud around too?

If you're going to change the buttons, you should remix the layout to fit each controller you're going to support, similar to how you can choose your personal Link preferences.

Wow... I'm so dumb. I didn't think of that(I use the Xbox controller, and the PS controls were requested.) It's been a while since I've seen a PS controller(years, actually.) I'll fix it :)

HUD, at this moment, is possible. I just need someone to make an AR Code to do so.

THANKS!
Here's a gameplay of the updated texture pack :)

At the end of the video, it shows percentage of completion and shows message of my many thanks, to the community.

@Tomoya are you attempting to give this texture pack a cel-shaded Skyward Sword or Wind Waker feel? Because I'm really feeling it!

@SuperMarioHacksWii - I'm actually trying to mix Skyward Sword/Wind Waker with a realistic art style. I want to give the effect of when you're far away from the textures, they look realistic, but when you're close up to them, they are Skyward Sword/Wind Waker styled. I am also trying to use Ocarina of Time's color scheme and texture feel; a mix of all styles that brings a unique look. Trying to make the textures age well, over time.

Glad you got the idea, though :)
Donation link has been removed till 26th of May; the date I can order my new tablet pen. This is because I don't want people donating to work that isn't being done. This also means no more texture work, till I receive my new pen.

HOWEVER; I will be working on shaders(trying to get MatsoDOF working and whatnot.) I'll customize the shaders to improve aesthetics and performance. I will also be working on YouTube videos, but not the "How to Create a Texture Pack" series(I don't have a pen.)

Very sorry, and it sucks that my pen failed during the greatest moments! Enjoy what has been done!

Remember that the pack I just uploaded isn't just improvements of Ordon Village and the Forest Temple. I've started re-texturing a bit at other locations(Sacred Grove, Lake Hylia, etc.)

As a memorial, here's my sad Cintiq doing nothing till the 26th :'(

Have you thought about bettering the quality of the music in this game?
Not that the music is bad, just that currently the compositions and instruments are very ambient.
If the textures and colors are going to be bold, the music should be too.
You could find a composer that would take the same themes, and give them more color, but I don't know how you would import the themes, I've just heard that importing new midis and even synths/instruments into TP is possible.
