Nice little community you got here. Didn't this site used to cover development of the classic games rather than just modding? Anyways, I have been providing screens/videos/etc of the early versions of Ocarina of Time since the late 90s/early 2000s for the Zelda community along with information still used today. ^_^ Well, glad to be here! |

I think you're thinking of something different. I've never heard of a zelda64.net before this one. Either way, good to see another member here. Edited by Sylux102, May 10 2015, 01:53 PM.

Check the long rant cen left at 0x205A230 in the release of the MM Debug ROM. Starts with... "www.zelda64.net hello zelda fansmy name is cen and i sure love zelda because i spent a few thousand dollars on this hoping it would have cool stuff -- and it did!! following this padding is an overdump of the original development copy of ocarina of time!!" ...and refers zelda64.net one more later on. (...and "original development copy of ocarina of time" just means a non-MQ Debug ROM from 2003 or thereabouts, IIRC, nothing really interesting) (EDIT: non-Debug MQ, actually: https://tcrf.net/Proto:The_Legend_of_Zelda:_Majora%27s_Mask/Debug_Version) Edited by xdaniel, May 10 2015, 02:14 PM.

Interesting. Never even noticed that. I have to admit I originally started trying to mod the 1.0 ROM so I haven't read much about the Debug ROM except that its decompressed and about its filesystem. |

Regardless of that rant, cen's Zelda64.net existed in 2009/2010 - ex. https://web.archive.org/web/20090125193748/http://zelda64.net/ or https://web.archive.org/web/20090312003658/http://zelda64.net/forums - and this Zelda64.net is not related to him in any way. The tiniest link I can think of, is that this site is a successor of sorts to Maco, which was headed by Flotonic, who worked with cen on some occasions (OoT3D). |
