I was just thinking...
Why nobody have done it yet?

A pack for the n64 version, based on the 3ds version :-O

Maybe it's a game who no one wants to play anymore?

I think it's just that there's no community and therefore no demand for it. The only evidence I've ever found that there's been any interest to hacking it is xdaniel's forum posts back in the day, and the occasional youtube video of someone who switched out some textures and text. If there was no community based around Banjo's Backpack, how many romhacks or texture packs do you think there'd be for Banjo Kazooie?

Also Starfox 64 3DS probably uses texture formats we don't have any documentation for.

I was thinking nintendo uses the same kind of textures for all games.

You know, like, using a version of the mario64 engine for zelda, and then using the same engine for Animal forest.
