Zelda 64 Beta Shields Redone.; Two beta Shield Textures for Oot

Hey everyone

Here are my first two attempts at texturing for Oot let me know what you think! :D
p.s im not sure if im posting in the right area let me know im new here.

I did not do the art for this first Shield! The shield was done By "Blueamnesiac" All I did was clean up,color correct and port the image over.

I made this one is CS6 by using SanguinettiMods Image as a reference.

I did something like this a bit ago. This version isn't 100% accurate because the original was two 32x64 textures and this is only one that's mirrored, but it's fairly close.

You could rip the model, apply 2 32x64 textures (one for each side) and import. or disable the mirroring from the texture and point the other side of the model where the texture tiles to a custom texture. Something like that may work.

Oh I definitely could get the right textures working but it's too much work for what it's worth.

maybe in a few years when tools and docs are improved but as of 2016 cdi is right.

Huh? Not quite sure what you're saying-- the tools already exist to get two 32x64 textures on one shield, but I just don't care enough to do it.

i was agreeing with you. im just saying as we perfect our utilities the hastle may be non existant in a few years. its possible now but that requres exporting retextureing converting buffer alignment and file injection. allong with a prayer to nyru it works the first time. Ive been hearing romors someone is overhauling utility of time to have it all and be cross platform and open source.
