So oddly there is a text in the game that would display if you were to try and beat a temple that would normally be ahead of stone tower but stone tower is the last temple meaning this text went unused further looking into the rom it appears as though stone tower temple was made before greatbay as it loads before it this makes sense as to why that text would have appeared in the beta majora's mask i am not sure if i am the only one who can agree on this but it would make sense and if you look at it this way it would explain why there is more early screenshots of stone tower in zelda gaiden!

I think that "at Ikana" it refers to Ikana Kingdom (the castle) or Ikana Valley; not Stone Tower specifically. Pretty much all other temples in the game are referred to by their specific location. eg. Woodfall (as opposed to Southern Swamp) and Snowhead (as opposed to Mountain Village). The only exception being that there is no specific identifiable part of the Great Bay ocean.

That said, it is strange that there would be something in the game that required you to complete something at Ikana first. Maybe, you used to have to beat Ikana Castle first to gain access to Stone Tower, but the devs removed it because it was too much of a pain. I doubt that Ikana Valley was supposed to come before Great Bay though for many reasons. You needed the hookshot just to get into the valley, ice arrows and the hookshot to climb the canyon, and the hookshot and zora mask (for elegy of emptiness) just to climb your way up Stone Tower, and the entirety of the Rockvale Temple required using the hookshot and Zora's mask (along with the other 2 masks) to solve puzzles. Way to much stuff for it to be decided at the last second that Great Bay should come first.

You are not wrong Soulofdeity, maybe Ikana Castle was a considered like a real dungeon for unknow reason in the past but there was not enough time for make a more complete dungeon we are not going to lie Ikana Castle is the only true sub-dungeon of the game and there is a boss and like the dungeons of the game, the boss room is a different scene.
The cut boss "Boss_06 Actor: 0x012E Object: 0x0156" the object is related to Igos du Ikana!
