Alright everyone, bad news. The project was going along rather well, but there was one small problem. People weren't doing their fair share. There was some drama because 1 of the members was acting disorderly and rude while not providing any work. Some members called him out, and after about a month, this member shut down all production of the project without the consent of the team. Now, you may ask: "We want a zelda mod! Where is it??" well, we haven't stopped. It's just not Ruins of Time anymore. It's called Project Dark. This mod will satisfy you just as much, if not, more than ROT. Like we said before, anyone who can prove useful can be accepted to the team under the request that everything is confidential and that you work the best that you can to co-ordinate. Ask any questions that you need answered. We will answer and make a new thread about our project when the time comes. :)

Nice but do not change texture colors with Sketchup. Use Adobe Photoshop to do it. The textures look rather nasty how they are now. And to inject maps where you want them in the rom. Go to Sharp Ocarina's save binary option and save the zmap and zscene files. Then use Hylian Toolbox's map injector to put it where you want. If this doesn't work let me know.

Thanks for the advice! That really does help a ton. Since the textures right now aren't completely finalized and definitely only place holders until polishing time, it's good to know the proper way into edited them. I'll test out the map injector to see if I can get it working.

I will ignore Zelda Gaiden because:
1) he didnt offer to help
2) his advice was vague and bullshit
3) Ive never seen a mod of his where he accomplished anything

AlphaSquad I may yet be able to help you...Send me the information on the ROM you guys are editing and exactly what you need to do. Your source control does indeed interest me. My complete mod, I did by myself (with the help of others...but i did that one person at a time)...so I am curious how you plan to have all these ppl editing the ROM simultaneously.....

My complete mod, I did by myself (with the help of others...but i did that one person at a time)...so I am curious how you plan to have all these ppl editing the ROM simultaneously.....
We have the rom hosted on our Dropbox (I dunno where I got it, but I have the link to the download. It looks like the one everyone uses and it's identical to the teams). Right now, we have our own individual rom and test with that. Whenever we get someone who can import our maps into one rom, We post our maps and work into our specific folders in the dropbox group so anyone in the group can see and edit as they so please. Once we are able to import all our maps into one rom, then it'll be several times easier to manage. We don't plan on adding all maps into the same rom until we have everything exactly the way we want it. I have made a document on what needs to be finished or done (It's WIP, and I need everyone on the team to pitch in, yet they have yet to find the time to do it so I may need some ideas on how to organize everything.) Any more questions? I'll gladly answer them the best as I can. We could really use some of your help.

So what your saying is you have no idea how to create a working zelda puzzle?
Well first off since your making dungeons always import your custom dungeons over ones that are already there this will allow you to have working keys secondly I have a few scenes from my old project if your interested you may use them in your project as long as i am given credit.

replace the forest temple with our "NEW" DeepWood shrine? also a Music composer will be a great idea! i did remake the URA deepwood shrine. sounds exactly like it too!. its in midi format but when it gets imported we cant find the right instruments so it sounds like drums playing lol. send me a pm haddockd and ill add you on skype. we will see what you can do for us.

I shut down RoT because I was told everyone agreed to it I wasn't going to shut it down without everyone AGREEING to it yes there was some drama but do not put that blame on me I am going to continue RoT my self and no one is going to help me out I tried my best to have a nice group of people doing there part nothing behind the scenes got done only levels did so before I have someone who never ever start the project state something like this which is bull and disrespectful I WAS THE ONE TO START IT WITH LINKB NO ONE ELSE

Did I name anyone? No bickering, please. This is proving my point; That we were disorganized and weren't able to co-operate because certain people caused drama rather than production. You always said you didn't want this to turn out like Ura Zelda's fate, yet you shut down and delete everything and make excuses for your actions. This is not a place to argue, and I would like it if Sylux102 shuts this thread down so my new team and I can make a new thread later in a few days detailing "Project Dark".
