Well the title should be bigger, but that's what I think that's what it's going to look like in the spoiler below. Also, these are the new areas I've got worked on. music is 50-90% finished for each map The first update had: Hyrule castle inside, Hyrule castle outside, the sewers, and the field... The second update is here which include: -Field theme -Forest -Ice -swamp Hopefully, a second trailer will be contributed: as I will resume... finishing the fields for these areas. The biggest setback that plagues this from advancing into distribution are: exits/entrances not transitioning, or locking need of a model importer (character and item) file not converting to .ppf meaning, I do not wish to release any demo until I can at least get the highlights in red and gold fixed Credits: z64offline ( map and music development) mib_f8sm9c (for voice actor replacement/ character model import) Psi-Hate (video creation and game testing) theluigidude2007 (model change support ideas) GANONdork123 ( character model import) Tunnellord1337 & Arikita (texture animation and tutorial) Mzxrules ( exit and transition) xdaniel (map tool and importer development) deathbasket (music tool development) sairugoth ( texture tips and advice) Ideka ( in game testing/ feedback support) and many more members of the community. I have to say that Hyrule Field-esque map in the first trailer looked great! I always love seeing varied terrain in Zelda 64 and that looks like there's a lot of opportunity for fun with actors, your castle maps also look phenomenal, along with your environments. You have a real knack for map making. Now, I noticed on a comment of the second video a fellow named luigidude offered a different Zelda and that system had its pros and cons. It's amazing that he managed to get Zelda's voice clips from SSBM for one and the animations looked okay. The model looked a bit messy though. Clearly inspired by Skyward Sword, everything looked decent except for the arms, but I imagine the arms had to be elongated because of items equipped in the hand. I would suggest a better Zelda model all together, but that doesn't seem to be a real possibility. Ah well. Now I recorded the location of all of Link's animations (that I could find) in (Debug) ROM. If this is really meant to be Zelda, you should probably change a few things up. She wouldn't have the same attack style as Link, I would imagine, nor the same idle animations. Changing up animations is not a difficult task. I love that logo by the way, it looks similar to Zelda's final rapier in Hyrule Warriors. I'm trying to slowly get back into Zelda 64 modding and this looks like a worthy project. If you had any ASM requests, let me know. As of this moment I can't make any promises, but if it's not too enormous (adding things is basically out of the question for me, I can however use the space alloted) I'll see what I can do. |
