Hello everyone,

Here I will announce the public release of the ZEY demo patch.

However, currently I have a few members testing the demo before public release, just to ensure everything is balanced, and in proper working order for some preliminary feedback and discussions.

I will likely not be releasing the demo until after halloween since a member is planning to possibly stream the demo on Halloween day.

I will (hopefully) have time to make an announcement to my viewers for the public release, but it won't be until th day before Halloween. Depends on if I have quiet time to record myself or not.

I hope everyone is being patient, bugs and issues are being ironed out of the demo a bit before a proper release.

I understand the other patch was buggy, but it was never supposed to be released on the forums. It was released without permission, but that is the end of that. There shouldn't be any concerns now.

Feel free to discuss the demo while we wait, I imagine some allies I have testing the demo atm will gladly share some videos if possible.

idk how you got so much lag Psi, it's always 20FPS on my Nemu, and it doesn't lag all that much on console.

You did say your emulator was acting up though... are you using PJ64 by any chance? That emulator lags on my PC sometimes.

Yeah, I'm using pj64. Usually in my maps, loading over 2 Stalfoses makes the game lag, even in a calm environment. I would assume that the extra fire and all that would take a toll on the game but I was using powersaving mode on a mid-end laptop while recording but the emulator stayed in 60fps but the game dropped every now and then. Not sure how full power would change anything but I'll see if Nemu has the same problem.

Well, before heading to bed last night, I tested it on console.

I guess I overlooked it before, because it was quite laggy, so I removed flame circles and smoke cones that weren't adding anything to Kokiri Forest. It's a bit laggy in one part, but it's not a big deal now.

As for testing, I already have the private testing for small details, little fixes here and there, then I will allow testing with anyone from Zelda64 here. After people here test the demo out, I'll then release it in a video to my viewers/subscribers. There should be plenty of time for testing, I'm just waiting for another to stream on halloween, then we'll kick off halloween with ZEY demo for the rest.

GANONdork123 I gotta say that was AWESOME. Loved the live stream. There were rough spots, but you kept your sense composure and had fun, even with your fails. You handled it like a pro. Looking forward to your next show.
