Then why does your profile say you're 22? I assumed you were older.

That's impressive? I started modding Zelda when I was 8 I'm freaking 20 now.. But whats in a number? I'd be happy to help if you can actually be descriptive about what you want done. Though I will warn you. I haven't touched importing maps in years. To busy with my ideas of ninja link.

Alright SoundBlitz, if that is enough story for you, you can join the team.

Memory is subject of time being able to pass. It's a safe assumption that one who is older has acquired more knowledge, conventional wisdom and things of that nature. It's about what you do during that age gap of yours. He could start at ten and learn more than you did at ten which could potentially develop into a very profitable future occupation. Not everyone learns at the same rate either.

I just think it's promising to see young people getting involved in technology instead of just being merely "wow'd" by the surface of their stimuli (read: visual).

Really getting involved used to be a necessity to some extend, even for just loading up a game or something, but that gradually decreased over the last 15-20 years. What used to be, say, putting a disk in the drive, going LOAD "*",8,1 and waiting for a few minutes, is now touching an icon on a phone or tablet screen and waiting a few seconds. Not saying I want Commodore BASIC v2 and GEOS 2.0, Amiga Workbench 2.1, or MS-DOS 6.22 with Windows 3.11 back as my main OSes... I just think that something has been lost with computers getting easier to use from generation to generation.

...or maybe I'm just talking nonsense because I couldn't sleep the whole night...

What's being lost is human to human communication.

So many people are so dazzled with technology, it's kinda of a safe haven for the mind ...kinda like a distraction ...away from real world problems....

Most 10-year-olds I know are mostly picking their noses and watching Spongebob Squarepants.
All jokes aside, this is actually impressive to see a young kid try modding.

I know older modders that come in, try actor hacking, and quit at the first map they edit because it's too overwhelming.
I'm sure your modling skills will get better, look up some tutorials or practice a bit more Spooky.

I see you like sketchup, which is a great start, but your skills are still a bit rough.
Don't want to sound mean, but the models I've seen from you are not good.

Still, not many kids can draw, nevermind use a 3D tool.
When I was 14, I struggled with 3D modeling tools.

I'm not taking it as an insult, but you can't expect a 10 year old to be that good at modding

I'm definitely expecting you to try to get better, though. Just keep working at it, there's been a lot of tips and criticisms you can learn from in this thread.
