I have a super awesome mod idea but I need help before I continue with it. I would like to know how to make my maps have some sort of top-down perspective. If anyone has any information or anything that could help me, I'd appreciate it. Thank you! :)

project 3ds team leader.
Do you mean changing camera offset like flo did?
I don't think we have any documentary on that but I am currently looking about it myself.
I think all flo did was change a pointer in the cutscene.
If you're not talking about any of this then I'm sorry I don't understand what you mean.

Do you mean the effect that happens in Child Sacred Forest Meadow, top down perspective?

Yes, Three Pendants. Melon and I were messing around with the rom to get it to work but the closest we could get was a glitchy static camera in kakariko village.

Hmm, I thought I recalled a code that allowed this as well. Also keep in mind that this effect is also used in the Fire Temple boulder room for possible research purposes, what I've never researched what would set that.

Well if you know any solutions, feel free to help me out. I could possibly be able to do this mod without the topdown camera but it'd be really useful if we sorted it out :)

Camera positioning is part of a scene's collision data. I'm not well versed in the intricacies of scene collision though, so you'd have to do your own research.

Estoy seguro que esto será traducido... =P
Also, SceneNavi can help you editing cosilion data so you can take a look to that...
