So I've been working on a Link model, and I feel like it's almost ready to be ported into Ocarina of Time. Can anyone show me where to start? Or maybe a guide? :)

When I learned how to import models into OOT, I learned using sanguinettimods' video guide on YouTube.
Unfortunately, I don't have the link to this video anymore. When I upgraded my pc, I lost everything on the hard drive to a failure of the hard drive prior to getting my new hard drive and processor later that day... So if someone could be so kind as to link that video it would be greatly appreciated.

Oh, just speaking from experience here. There's a guide on here that I brought over from Maco on importing models into free space. You might want to take a look at that, especially if this is your first time importing a model into the game. Please, trust me when I say, its going to be easier to import your model into free space than it would be to try and get it to fit where the current model is.

Anyways, sorry for the super long wall of text.

EDIT: Found the video after a little bit of Google searching. Here you go, and I hope you find it as useful as I did!

Why do I keep reading all these stories of harddrive failures, but mine has never failed on me? How long have you guys been using those HDDs?

Zanak: the hard drive that failed on me (2015) had been in service for 15 years. Plus it had received a lot of abuse from its previous owner (some company my father worked for). So overall, all that just led to failure.

So...I think my textures have too many colors. I tried importing the head, and when I tried loading it in Hylian Toolbox, it crashed. I think I need a crash course in texturing. Can anyone help me? :/
Also, that video is only useful up to the point where it gets to the part using the hex editor. That's when he starts getting confusing and non-descriptive, making it too hard to follow and understand. So I'm stuck.

Oh, 15 years plus extra in a company? Jesus, ok that's understandable. This one I've been using has had 2-3 years of use so far when I got it, so I was a little concerned about how much time I have left.

Too many colors? Just throw them in Photoshop or gimp and change them to 16-bit color mode (32x64/64x32/32x32), or 8-bit color mode (64x64)
