Proper Twilight Princess Model importing a basic understanding

Basic understanding as in from what the person who was the first to do it all properly collision spawning and models. Taven. He has told me how to do it properly but he said the tools that are needed are as follows:
WindViewer (Player Spawning)
anyway to convert a bmd to 3ds or obj and convert back.
Mario DS collision importer. (For the collision which just so happens to work with Twilight Princess)

I am busy right now so I do not have the time to test and work on this but this should 100% work if anyone wants to post progress here go for it. If you see Taven anywhere be sure to thank him! Let the TP mods begin.

Things that can be imported as of now:
Levels
Collision
Items
Player Models (Taven hasnt said how this is done because the models need to be rigged as well depending on what your doing hair, outfits for links model should work 100%.
Also since Taven can't post this due to him keeping a promise to the Twilight Princess HD Project that he would not release this I decided to do it for him.
Enjoy. :D

that's not really creditworthy if you're just using existing tools for games made in the same engine. especially in a game were the emulator exposes the whole file system. its like saying give me credit cause gta tools work for shadow the hedgehog. just saying

I've already imported models into TP. This really isn't news.
The info has been documented for years
And the TPHD project doesn't care if it's released. I'm on the team. Shadster has done streams doing this stuff. If we wanted to be arrogant asshole and hide it, it didn't have been streamed of disaster don't it. Also, character models don't not work yet. There's no way to import bones. Only static models currently work. Lighting doesn't affect the models either

One tool Taven wrote wont be released that allowed this to fully work. Just using those tools alone wont work properly so credit does go to Taven for getting custom maps and models and also collision to work properly those tools sure credit goes to the people who made them but Tavens tool allowed them to work properly. Any work or anything or anyone claiming they did it first is false.

Not what I meant when I did this post. One more tool is needed and that tool is what Taven has so the map and textures for it wont be corrupted on import. Shadsterwolf simply used Tavens documentation and I believe his name is Jack for Jacks tool. either way figured this should be public knowledge so more advanced people can work on maps and be lead the correct way instead of wasting 2 months like Taven did. Where as bones yes like I said in the topic that isn't possible. Hair and anything else with any other model replacing them does work. Please read the topic fully first. Thanks!

Average user who wants to mod :P
"Is Taven still going on with himself? He is seriously toxic, a pretentious compulsive liar. I was also build manager until I got fed up with the work and passed it on!
I also configure the shaders.
But that's neither here or there" - Cozimo

Basically, Taven used public documentation and took credit, then acted humble by leaving (aka kicked out) promising "not to leak" any of their public methods. The fact that Taven has a special tool is a blatant lie, due to the fact that 2 of the team members I know admit that they haven't used a single "asset" Taven "supplied" them.

It's good that you decided to post the documentation in an easy place to find, bet there's absolutely no need to plaster Taven's name all over it, especially when he's done nothing but take credit for stuff he had nothing to do with. In our mod that we did a few years ago, myself and some friends spent hours learning z64 modding and getting results, while Taven sat around asking for progress (since he was the self proclaimed "Team Leader"), and then never followed through with his tasks. The kid couldn't even model a square. Ultimately in the end, he deleted all of our models and progress before rage quitting, then announcing that all his work was deleted and that we all took credit for his stuff.

Basically, Taven does sketchy things, and is friends with a lot of sketchy people (like ryanrocks) so it's best to take everything he says with a 10 gallon canister of salt. Try to keep him out of here, because if he isn't here to do these things himself, he obviously knows why.

I have seen model imports from years before Taven joined the scene, the only thing he did was get collision to work, and he never designed any sort of tool for that.

Who said anything about taven's work getting plagiarized, i certainly didn't. If it wasn't a fib you certainly left out key information zelda, i don't know if i can trust you now.

Okay Taven. We aren't stupid. We know this is a duplicate account. Shadster did NOT take your fucking documentation. THERE WAS ALREADY DOCUMENTATION OUT THERE. And also, Shadtser doesn't use that tool for collsion. He uses something else. The biggest part that gives away that this is you Taven, is the fact that you said "used tavens documentation" and almost everything you always say.

Um? I only know what Taven has told me. Who knows maybe there is more then meets the eye. Shadster from what Taven has told me did take his documentation for good use from what I see. But yeah list what stories you want HeroOfHyruleLink. But yeah from what I seen so far I do not like you at all. This post I made was to help people get lead to the right direction instead of wasting there time searching for ideas that do not even work. The fact you are wasting your time on this post with this nonsense is funny. Taven infact wasn't the first to import something in the game. He did infact managed to get collision working with the help of the Mario tool yes and his tool as well. Shadsterwolf also uses a tool from Jack that also makes porting a bit easier thats all I know. But what I do know is that drama on this site is not a good thing to have. If anyone here wants drama send that all to Taven not me. But yeah thanks and have a good day and make sure you get your facts right before coming to me. Any other talk will be ignored I am here because I want to be here and enjoy the community.

Whats this cluster fuck? People still lying about me? Not surprised one bit. Anyways Skilar goodluck with the lies. Also im a sketchy person? Give me 5 reasons why you think that and I will prove those wrong. I did have a tool. I was reported to Nintendo by what I think is the TPHD Project. I received a C&D from Nintendo stating that I can no longer modify Nintendo IP. I even stated before hand I used what was public about map importing and I will say it again. I used public info for it woah big shock shouldn't be because I said so before. Yes I got collision working with the help of the Mario tool and my tool. Maps where not that hard to fix up and list a proper way to do it do I NOT take full credit doing so was I the first to do all this properly yes but I was never the first to import models of any sort into the game. If you guys want to sit here and spit lies back in forth it will just further prove my point that the modding community is nothing but a joke here. But yeah Shadster did use my documentation yes I wont deny it. But yeah continue with the lies but I know I did nothing wrong. But yeah ill see you guys when BoTW comes out I wont be on this site tell then. Everyone here have a great day/night.
Further more I will contact a mod to clean up this forum and lock it keep the drama out.
