Here is a model preset guide for Ocarina of Time/Majora's Mask, now with pictures! Credit to Flotonic for the original guide, and PwnzLPs for carrying it over to Z64. Original thread.

This guide is in feet and units. Some parts of the original guide are copied over and/or modified. Now with pictures, with Adult Link for comparison!

Regular Doorway:

Posted Image

Feet:
- 5 feet wide
- 8'4 feet high
- 1'8 feet deep

Units:
- 60 units wide
- 100 units high
- 20 units deep

Notes:
- When connecting two rooms, you must put a door model in each room you want Link to enter and exit from.
- When creating doors, on the collision you want to make an invisible barrier that way Link cannot walk through the wall into the next room. (It would be unloaded because the doors load each individual room).

Boss Doorway:

Posted Image

Feet:
- 10 feet wide
- 13'4 feet high
- 1'8 feet deep

Units:
- 120 units wide
- 160 units high
- 20 units deep

Crawl Space:

Posted Image

Feet:
- 2'8 feet wide
- 2 feet high
- As deep as desired

Units:
- 32 units wide
- 24 units high
- As deep as desired

Notes:
- There will need to be an individual wall for Link to interact with. This is the "doorway", which is what you press A on to enter. This "wall" must be placed 1'8 feet (20 units) inside of each side of the crawlspace. The solid side must also be facing inwards.

Ladders:

Posted Image

Actual ladder:

Feet:
- 2'8 feet wide
- As tall as desired

Units:
- 32 units wide
- As tall as desired

Climb down interaction:

Feet:
- 2'8 feet wide
- 1'8 feet tall

Units:
- 32 units wide
- 20 units high

Notes:
- The actual ladder must be it's own component, and be named "Ladder". Hylian Toolbox will recognize this as a ladder, but you can also manually add the ladder flag.
- The climb down interaction is placed at the top of the ladder, white side facing out. Make this piece a component and name it "LadderTop". If using Hylian Toolbox, it will recognize this immediately and it should work as soon as you import your map. If not, you can give this component a "ladder top" flag.
- Ladders should be placed five inches (5") (Units: 60) from whatever wall Link is climbing onto. This ensures the ladder has the space so Link can climb off and on (at the top) perfectly, and it is genuine to the games. This also separates the ladder top component from the actual ladder.

Fences:

Posted Image

Feet:
- 1'8 feet wide
- 3'4 feet high
- As long as desired

Units:
- 20 units wide
- 40 units high
- As long as desired

Notes:
- This is for the collision of the fence. The mesh has the texture, with the texture double sided in the middle.

You know the best measurement unit is the meter? Because if you use SharpOcarina, Utility of Time or SceneNavi 10 units is equal to 10 meters, by using feet you're making things harder but I respect your choice.

I was thinking of adding the units sometime soon anyways. I just feel feet makes more sense, because of how things are built in real life. But that's good to know, I didn't know that.

Does anyone have an izou link patch that only adds the custom izou link model, but doesn't modify the shields or anything else?

That's not relevant and should be in its own thread. I know my post has the Izou Link in it, but still.

Yeah I'm in France and we're using meter but I think if feet were the most easier I would use it but just in case if some peoples are using feet and can't change that your topic may helps them. :')

You're welcome, I think I will do a topic similar to this but about the climbing and jumping like http://forums.zelda64.net/topic/11392749/ http://forums.zelda64.net/topic/11391185/ but for Majora's Mask.

Great idea! People really need these references for building maps.
