For now all I've been doin is compiling GS codes to make gameplay more stable, basically improving from Jman's GS codes. And yes, it is possible to only spawn 1 extra Link. You could spawn 10 if you wanted. If you want, I'll fire up my PC and find my notes and change the amount of Links to spawn from 3 to 1. Might even make a patch.

Did you press Start during the pulling of the Master Sword curscene? Regardless of codes, it will crash guaranteed so try not to press Start. I need to update the cheat list as well and release a patch for the readded functions.

I believe there is, but I don't think it works for Project64.
